Volleying (Volleyball) Cues

Stable (Standing) Spike

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Toss ball up with slight backspin, about two feet above head.

Raise dominate hand up, close to ear, with fingers together, open palm.

Step forward with opposite foot.

Contact ball with a topspin, in a "high five" motion (not following through).

Return to a "ready" volleyball position.
